General rental conditions   for bicycles with or without assistance 
 

Item 1  

Damage: Damage observed on the bike and its accessories will be invoiced according to the current rate.

Item 2 
Accessory Loss and Theft: Accessory loss and theft will be broken down as Suit :

Section 3
 Caution: The security deposit will be requested for each bike rental, the amount of this security deposit is set according to the current rate, i.e. from 250 to 900 € per bike rented per bike With or without Assistance
The deposit cannot under any circumstances be used to cover an extension of the rental.
An ID will be required for any bike rental  

Section 4

Rates: The rental rates are displayed in the appendix to the rental contract. The rental is payable when taking charge of the bike(s). The rental day starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends no later than 5:30 p.m. (collection of the bike or delivery possible the day before between 5 and 6 p.m.) Any rental started is due in full and is non-refundable_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

Item 5  
Theft: The contracting party undertakes to make every effort to prevent the theft of the bicycle(s) made available to him (in particular by using fixed points using the padlock provided). In the event of the theft of a bicycle, the contracting party must justify a complaint to the Gendarmerie or the Police Station and the lessor notified at the same time. In the event of theft or if he is responsible for an accident, the tenant or his insurance must repair the damage suffered by the renter (replacement value of the cycle and commercial damage). In this case, the deposit will remain acquired by the lessor in account and to be applied to the compensation for his damage.
The "head of household" insurance covers damage caused to third parties by the tenant or his minor children.
The lessor is not insured against the theft of the rented cycles.

Item 6 
Civil liability - The bicycles are deemed to be in good working order and comply with the regulations in force at the time of their provision. The contracting party releases "The lessor" from any liability arising from the use of the bicycle(s) made available to him, in particular with regard to accidents, damage caused to third parties and traffic violations. The user declares to be the holder of personal civil liability insurance (for example a multi-risk home policy) which guarantees the consequences of using the Bike and which also covers his/her spouse and their children. The tenant is personally liable for bodily injury and material damage he causes when using the rented cycle in his custody (article 1383 and 1384 of the Civil Code).

Item 7 

Limits of use: The user can only use the bike within the administrative limits of the department and not prohibited to the circulation of cyclists.

Item 8  

Highway code: The user undertakes to ride the bicycle with caution and in accordance with the regulations in force and in particular the highway code. The tenant is personally responsible for all traffic violations.

Section 9

  Repairs and assistance: repairs will be charged at 15 euros in the area of  Saint-François.
Mobile 06 25 066 104  . Outside of this municipality, troubleshooting is not guaranteed 

Article 10 :  Delay: Any delay in the return will be invoiced   according to the tariff in force.
 

It is forbidden :  • to modify the rented bike / • to carry out major repairs / • to sub-let (except professionals)

• to transport a passenger other than a small child on the condition that an approved seat is installed

• to extend the rental without prior agreement. Failing this, the initial rate is applied for the entire duration of the rental.

If a significant deterioration of the equipment were to appear, a deduction corresponding to the damage noted on the deposit will be made.
